Transfer Impact Assessment (TIA) Checklist

When your organization transfers personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA), it is important to ensure the same level of protection in these ‘third countries’. For example, if you transfer personal data from Germany to the US, it is important that the same level of data protection also applies in the US. In some cases, you are required by law to perform a Transfer Impact Assessment (TIA). In this road map we outline which steps you have to go through with a TIA.
